I did go up to Provo kinda spur of the moment cuz it was the only weekend for a while where we were both available. And seeing how she's been down here alot (Cherry Chub Reunion, Broken Elbow (I'll do an update of that later), Family Reunion), I needed to go up and admire here garden!
We spent the morning and afternoon of the 24th of July at the Pioneer celebration in Provo and at the farmers market at another park.
Emily tried to imitate the lady on the front of the car.
Pretty close!
And here she is talking to the Honey Guy (wearing the grab bag from the Family Reunion! because she loves me). I meant to take a picture of the 17th certified tatting teacher in the US but was too enthralled with his explanations of the different types of lace.
Emily did take one with my phone of some primping in the car mirror...
(Notice both our outfits are the same. It wasn't QUITE planned :-)
But besides enjoying Emily's company, I was also there to enjoy Emily's garden. (Can you find her in this picture?)Emily works very hard.
All of the beds were beautiful,
but this was my favorite.... a huge flower on top of a tree!
I meant to get more pictures of her garden, but was too busy enjoying my time with Emily.
Sunday morning I crocheted as Emily prepared for teaching the Sunbeams. She made this very cute 3-d temple with bushes and a family.
Then Emily rushed around like a blur in the kitchen making me squash Mac and Cheese.
And she let me take home some squash and cucumbers straight from her garden.
Ah... What a sweet Emily post.
So because I love her, I will end with this picture.
Thanks Emily for letting me come and showing me such a rocking good time. Ice Cream = Love.

Sounds like you had a great time. Most of those pictures are pretty cute. I wished my garden looked as good. Maybe the difference is the part about working hard?
so fun to hang out with sisters! Emily's garden really is beautiful! I miss you guys. I really do. Funny thing is I am so close and yet I feel so far away. Weird.
yep deserved the last picture with fudge on my tooth.
Glad you came to visit, come again anytime.
Emily does have an awesome garden. Any chance of getting the squash maccaroni and cheese recipe? Also an arm update would ease my mind significantlt!
Did I tell you I was jealous that you got to hang out with Emily because I am.
